The purpose of the Memorial Day Parade is to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. Military and should be done in a respectful, patriotic and honorable way.
Walker Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 25 at 12:00 pm. All veterans, bands, floats, companies and organizations are invited to participate. Please register your parade entry by May 11. You can sign up via our online registration portal.

- Political Entrants will be charged a $100 entry fee per vehicle/walking participant, unless they are an incumbent representing the City of Walker.
- Political entries will not be allowed to have multiple politicians/candidates registered under one umbrella account. Each politician/candidate must be registered separately.
- Vehicles not registered for the parade will not be able to participate.
- Soliciting signatures is not allowed on the Parade Route.
- Any business based outside of Walker with any type of advertising will be charged a $100 entry fee.
- Non-profit organizations and businesses that are Walker-based are exempt from the fee.
- Anyone walking in your entry must be able to keep up a "Parade Pace".
