2. By order of the City of Walker Fire Department, an annual burning permit is required for residential burning of branches and small twigs. No other residential or commercial burning is allowed in the City of Walker. Burning season is April 15 to May 15 and October 15 to November 15 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays only. You may apply for a burning permit online by completing and submitting the form below. Unless you are notified that your application has been denied, your permit is valid for the calendar year in which you applied. You must read the rules (PDF) before submitting your application.
