[ARCHIVED] Odd Even Parking

No parking street sign in front of snowy homes

Can you believe we're prepping for winter already? The City of Walker begins Odd Even Parking for a handful of streets in the City.

Kinnrow Ave. from Richmond St. to Kinview St.
Kinnrow Ct. from Kinnrow Ave. to the cul-de-sac
Dublin St. from Kinnrow Ave. to the cul-de-sac
Cedar Run St. from Wilson Ave. to Cedar Run Ct.
Cedar Run Ct. from south cul-de-sac to the north cul-de-sac

From November 1 through April 1 - and from 8 AM through 6 PM - parking will only be allowed on the odd addressed side of the street on odd numbered days. The same will apply to the even addressed side of the street on even numbered days. Vehicles may be parked on both sides of the street overnight. Parking will not be allowed at anytime in the cul-de-sacs of these streets. Signs outlining these requirements are posted.

These parking regulations allow the City's snow plows to keep the streets clear of snow in areas where substantial on-street parking occurs. In addition to benefitting residents, it also improves access for emergency vehicles.
