The City Commission will interview finalists for the City Manager position on Tuesday, February 10, following selections by commissioners at its January 26 meeting.
Interviews will take place in the City Commission Chambers and will be conducted as a public meeting. The format will mirror recent commissioner interviews, using a round-robin question structure led by the City Commission and Mayor Carey.
Interview times are as follows:
• Michael T. Burns, 9:00 a.m.
• Emilie G. LaGrow, 10:30 a.m.
• Mike Womack (virtual), 12:30 p.m.
• Vester Davis Jr., 2:00 p.m.
• Shay P. Gallagher, 3:30 p.m.
To ensure a fair process for all candidates, the interviews will not be livestreamed. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person.
The City Commission anticipates selecting a final candidate following the conclusion of interviews on Tuesday evening. The planned start date for the new City Manager is Monday, March 2.
