Welcome to the City of Walker, and thank you for visiting my profile!
In 2014, I celebrated fifteen years of public service to Walker, most of that with our Historical Commission. My time as a City Commissioner started in January of 2013. I am one of two commissioners representing the 2nd Ward, and have resided at 2068 Deerfield NW, since 1998.
Currently, I am employed as a Regional Sales Director for Paycor. We are a privately held, software and technology company. I lead a sales team and office that covers most of Michigan, and northern Indiana. Paycor passionately supports its associates in the communities we serve. Our first guiding company principle of “take care of the client first”, helps position me to serve the residents of Walker. Prior to Paycor, I enjoyed over twenty years with two Fortune 500 companies where I held various roles in sales and operational leadership.
I have also served in numerous volunteer roles with the Kenowa Hills School District. Some of my involvements included serving as a High School Football Coach; youth sports leader, Education Foundation President and Trustee; and multiple Facilities and Bond Committees. Because of my passion and commitment I have for healthy school systems, I am well positioned to help facilitate any discussion or action we need to take together. Successful school districts are an essential fabric that strengthens any community.
In addition to my City Commission seat, I actively serve the Walker community in the following roles:
- Finance Committee
- Building Committee
- Emergency Planning Committee
- Police/Fire Committee
- Interurban Transit Partnership Board of Directors, representing Walker
I can be contacted at 616.292.1715, or by email. You can follow my Commissioner activities on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or connect with me on Linked In.
